At the start of the game you control a hero named Dismas and you can also find his head too, so there's something fishy going on.
Fun fact, Vestal's canon name is Junia, so she is essentially holding her own head. Junia's Head - This trinket is very easy to find and gives a big boost in healing. After all, it's called Heretical Passage. I have yet to try this trinket out, but I can imagine a really crazy Vestal behind it. Heretical Passage - This one in addition to about the same healing as previous trinket also gives extra damage against specific type of enemies.
It's a fairly simple trinket and that's all I need, which is why in this part Vestal says it's her favourite book. I can still do normal damage, I can still stun, I get no extra stress. What I like about it is that it doesn't mess up anything else. It gives slightly less healing than Sacred Scroll or Profane Scroll, but the only downside is slightly reduced HP. Tome of Holy Healing - Now this is my favourite trinket. I recently tried it and it is not so bad, especially in early game when Vestal is like level 2 or even 3. It doesn't give as much healing as the previous two, but it has no downsides. And so in this part she looks much more intimidating than the previous one.Ĭhirurgeon's Charm - This trinket should be first since it's much more common, but the order of which I drew this was third. I actually like this trinket, it offers Vestal an interesting playstyle which I often don't do. The downside is that Vestal needs to be in one specific spot in order to get all these bonuses. Profane Scroll - This one gives just as much bonus healing as the previous trinket, but it also gives extra damage and protection. But it did create a cute looking Vestal in this collection. I like my Vestal to be a little active in combat. Basically it turns Vestal into more passive member in the team where she is only healing and doesn't participate in combat that much. Sacred Scroll - This trinket gives a lot of bonus healing and less stress at the cost of reduced stun chance and extremely reduced damage. Long description incoming, I'm going to try to make it as beginner friendly as possible since I'm not sure how many of you have played Darkest Dungeon. So I decided to portray Vestal with different trinkets and sort of make alternate versions of her where she might look cute or be completely scary. but there's usually a cost to that and not all of them are great. One of them being this one! So it's no secret that I like Abomination and Vestal and with Vestal specifically you can equip her with specific trinkets that improve her healing. I am still in Darkest Dungeon mood, so I had a bunch of ideas that I just wanted to see in front of my eyes.
