The bonus for this Framework helps with understanding and using arecheotech. Mechanicus Agents may purchase an Exploration Mechadendrite (spine mounted limb that helps in navigation, scanning, and tracking) for 10 XP. Each one is named, has a description, and provides a unique bonus.Įach Agent will get wargear that aids exploration: a Data-Slate for information, a Monoscope for recording, and a Survival Kit to help in hostile environments. In addition, four Forge Worlds are included that those from either Framework may call home. So Xenos, Scum, Rogue Traders, and more can sign on as well. While half the Agents need to be from Mechanicus (the book has a typo that reads Ministorum) that is the only limitation. The Framework that works best for exploring space hulks is Explorator Maniple. The Skitarius could Ascend per Chapter 7 to make them Tier 3. In Redacted Records there are two Frameworks for the Mechanicus so Agents of Tier 3 would work well since the Skitarius is Tier 2 and the Tech-Priest is Tier 3. With 2 S9 AP2 shots and 6 TL S7 rending you can even threaten AV 14. >You now have a bonafide tank hunting machine. Like you say, it's a little confused now with S5 on something that wants to be shooting at light armor, but it's not really cost prohibitive and can add a lot of anti infantry punch. It's also a fast tank, so you can move and still shoot everything. Tank Hunter on the accelerator AC is sick!
>Like you said just go merc light armor with it (looking at you Wave Serprents!) I'd also be tempted buy Schism of Mars on a barebones Sicaran. I think it's pretty awesome anyway you run it. I believe it's armor is 13/12/12 now though.
